Has anyone heard of not having an RSVP date on their invites? I know someone getting married that is doing this bc the invite woman told her its 'rude' to put a date and looks tacky, etc etc. and people should know to rsvp soon.
I think this is crazy!?!? Anyone hear of this? doing this? if so, did it work out well?
Just wondering.... thanks!

Seriously, people don't respond when you put a date on it. What would happen if you didn't have a date at all?? That just doesn't make sense!

As long as you word it right it is fine and expected. I wouldn't write RSVP by if you want proper etiquette. However you can write The Favor of a Reply is Requested By....
