Chrissy you're not being biatchy at all!!!!!
I also felt that way, tho I wasn't looking for No's. I, too, understand that people have other things going on in this world but it's nice to get an explanation as to why someone can't make it. A few of my No guests did write something, but some left me wondering...

I feel the same way sometimes. Sometimes ignorance is bliss... because when you do find out the reason why people are not attending, it can be insulting ...

Agree with everyone - it's best not to know and to assume that horrible circumstances are keeping them away on a special day rather than that they just can't find a babysitter or something stupid.

Re: no rsvps
I used to love coming home to find the rsvp's, but once the no's starting rolling in, I got real upset. I kind of take it personally and I know I shouldn't. I dread opening the cards now, because I'm afraid we won't make our minimum and because I'm too sensitive lately. Heck, I'm still mad at those that didn't come to my shower. I know, I have issues......

I hear you. I'm taking every no as a personal rejection.

Re: no rsvps
I have been hurt by every 'NO'...It makes me sad....I got a no today from a good friend that I worked with....I just wish she had told me sooner....she will be in Europe and she has known that date for a while and waited until the last minute to send the response...I was a little pissed

Re: no rsvps
yes....some people have said no and i'm like, geez, why??? and some have said yes and i'm like, geez, why?? lol.....no's hurts even if you WANT them.....it's like in the 8th grade when you dump timmy for tommy and even though you wanted to dump him, you end up sad...no hurts.

Re: no rsvps
I totally agree. I keep saying we need about 50 nos, but then when I get a no I think 'I wonder what they are doing that they can't come? What is more important than a wedding?'

Re: no rsvps
are you kidding!?!? i felt exactly the same way! if it was a 'no' i would open up the card expecting some kind of explanation, only a few had something written inside but the ones that didnt i was like 'what the hell? why arent you coming?' dont get me wrong, i'm glad there were no's because we would've gone over our minimum, but it definitely feels like rejection!

Re: no rsvps
Don't worry, it's normal, I felt the same way. Some people took the time to write a nice note, which is obviously not required or anything, not like they have to justify why they can't come but it's always nice to see. It was upsetting to see people just check decline, stuff it in the envelope and send it out.

Re: no rsvps
Nobody likes rejection! I think I'll be upset too when nos come in, especially if it's someone on my side.
There were some people that my parents and his parents felt compelled to invite that we both could care less about (or in some cases on his side don't know) so I don't think I'd be as upset if they don't come.

I say keep the no's coming. We invited so many freaking people and half of them I don't even know (they are my future in-laws friends).
