Anyone here not having salad on the menu? Does that seem strange? We opted to have an appetizer duet of fresh mozzarella w/ peppers, tomatoes, etc instead of a separate app and salad

We are not having a salad. We are having an appetizer that has tomato, mozzarella, and onions on a waffle.
I'd rather have the mozzarella/ tomato than a salad.

I love fresh mozz and tomato, so I don't think it's weird at all. We have a salad course standard, so that's why we're having one. We could do the fresh mozz and tomato as the app course, but we're not because there's a ton of it at CH and we wanted to do something different. But as a salad/app duet, I think that's fine.

I did an appetizer/salad combo. It eliminates one of the courses so there is more time for dancing IMO

Thats the same reason we arent doing tomato and mozz! What are you getting? We picked the crepes with broccoli...cant wait to eat it!!

We did something similar but I asked if my guests could be allowed a Caesar or Garden salad if they chose instead and they said yes. Danfords has a restaurant downstairs so it might be easier for them to accomodate requests like that but it was delicious so we went with it!

yeah i know all too well... FH is full italian and looked at me like i committed a murder haha...
we are having a pasta station in CH so i def knew we didnt need more during dinner... as much as i love penne ala vodka, we are skipping it
