NO SHOWER: SO PSYCHED!!!!!!!

I am not having a shower and I am so excited. I just hate the whole idea of it!

Does anyone else feel like this?

Good for you!!!!!!

I hate the opening gifts for hours...yada, yada. So we are doing a brunch and having a display shower. The gifts can be brought unwrapped and we'll just hang around and eat and drink and have a fun time!

I hate showers too, but my mom is insisting on having one. Mine is on Saturday.

I loved my shower - the surprise part and seeing family, but I felt SOO uncomfortable opening gifts in front of everyone...

I so did not want a shower and it caused major issues with the family members that i just went ahead and did it to appease people. We really wanted an Jack and Jill type thing or a displays hower but the moms were totally aghast at that thought. They thought it rude.......and in the end i was right....my shower caused more drama then it was worth.

I didn't want one either but my mother is insisting.
The only thing I asked them to do is not make it so boring!!
I told them I wanted it at a bar...HaHa. We'll see what they
do. I think it's in August.

me too...instead my mom said she is going to plan a nice brunch/tea...I hate going to showers where there is so much food you feel like you're at a wedding...its 11:30 AM I don't want a broiled fish or a big steak...just another cup of coffee...
