but wondering if everyone who said they would go will show. Two ladies who said they were coming to the wedding didn't come to the shower even though they RSVP'd that the would??? RUDE...

I had one no show. My former male best friend and his girlfriend didn't come, even though I spoke to him THE DAY BEFORE!!! I had called him to ask why he hadn't booked a room at the hotel since he lives over 2 hours away. He never showed and never called again.....so much for best friends.......

There were a couple of no-shows at one of my brother's weddings... cousins from a side of the family we rarely see.
Because of that, they have not been invited to any family weddings since then... They never gave any explanation or anything. Their mother showed up and just said they couldn't make it.
SO RUDE!
As far as I know, I've never been to another wedding with any no-shows, though.

we had a FEW no shows one no show was also a NO show for the shower- and had the nerve to call MIL and tell her that she left a gift for us at the house on the front steps...GUESS WHAT...NO GIFT-totally lied-when we called, cause we thought wow someone must have taken it-they said, OH no-we must left it at a neighbors house-the neighbor said they never got a gift from anyone
and two couples who called the NIGHT of the rehearsal dinner-ONE NIGHT before the wedding!

I had three friends who were supposed to bring dates but their dates were able to come to day of the wedding. My friends still came though.
