If it wasn't snowing I would have gone in BUT NO WAY! Last time it snowed all of these people who lived close by called in and I went it....SORRY NOT THIS TIME! I hate calling because the secretary gives me a hard time I HATE HER SHE IS SUCH A B$$CH!

You are guys are lucky to be home...I ventured into work & the roads were not too bad....I know it will be a slow day anyway...Enjoy your day off!

It is 7:50. I got to work 20 minutes ago. The roads were fine. I work in Bklyn and it took me a half hour - regular commute time. The worst part of the commute was getting off of my own street in Bellerose. The rest of the commute wasn't any worse than any other day.

That made me laugh because the secretary at my school is about a grape or two short of a fruit salad. I said to FH that I can't wait to take his name just to hear how she mutilates it on the loud speaker. Unfortunately, you have to be excessively nice to anyone who sits in a front office. They tend to be the eyes and ears of the school and when you need a favor, they are the ones you end up going to.

FH didn't even get a delay

He went in - a 45 minute commute took him just about 2 hrs.

Sunrise hwy, Sagtikos and Northern State were all clear for me. The only bad roads were the secondary roads -- Round Swamp and Woodbury road.

it started as a delayed opening but changed... poor FI, who has a longer drive had to go in though so im home all alone

NO one asked if I was ok...I HATE THAT SCHOOL

Some people who lack control if their own lives, try to control the lives of others. She is probably perpetually miserable. The secretary in my school is lucky if she can link two thoughts together much less be confrontational.
