We already booked our venue, and I've had some of the food there and read all the reviews and know that it's amazing! but I'm trying to put together our menu, and I'm finding myself seriously stuck on what to pick especially since I haven't tried it all. TVI doesn't do tastings, we just went to their Bridal Showcase tonight & had an amazing time, but I didn't get to taste everything! should I be a squeaky wheel and try to get them to let us do a tasting?

Re: No tasting?
Yes. We wouldn't book until we tasted the food.
IMO, they will give you one eventually if you keep at it. probably during another event.

Re: No tasting?
For all of the money you're paying, it's owed to you to have a tasting. My RH caved in and let us do one after we insisted. on the other hand, you're getting married in November, so they may schedule something for when it gets closer to your date.

They should give you a tasting when you finalize the menu about 1-2 months before the big day...

Re: No tasting?
Timber Point let us have a tasting before we booked. I would definitely ask again. Also, keep going to the showcases. They usually switch up the items so you can try different things. Good luck!

I'm going to bug them about it! maybe when it gets a little closer to the date though. I'm just sitting here going over the menu with my family and I'm realizing there is SO much I need to try before I finalize this menu!. I'll definitely be attending the next bridal showcase. I read amazing reviews about the food, so booking before I tasted it wasn't a big deal to me. They did tell me that we could go to the Mirabelle restaurant there and get dinner, but why would I pay a bunch of money to taste something that should be free to me?

I think you should have a tasting. Mirabelle would be nice but ask if they would comp it because you are having a wedding. Glad you enjoyed the showcase...we loved TVI.

That's a great idea! I'm going to see if we can do that. I love TVI too! I hope they'll be willing to give us a tasting or comp us our meal at Mirabelle!
