Non Floral CP's! HELP!

OK so to save $$ we are not having floral centerpieces and we will DIY them. What are you ladies doing? Or do you have any ideas that will help me to save $$$! Thanks so much ladies!

i also dont like and dont want flower CP's, so this is very helpful. i am just in love with those floating candles in the tall vases
but, my problem is how to set up the DIY CP's, in terms of logistics: when to do it? where to store all the supplies? and a bunch of other million things that can go wrong for lack of time and creativity
any suggestions?
