OK so to save $$ we are not having floral centerpieces and we will DIY them. What are you ladies doing? Or do you have any ideas that will help me to save $$$! Thanks so much ladies!

I was planning on having hurricane lamps with a pillar candle and filling it with beans. Kind of something like this but i got lazy and just got flowers lol.
This is also a nice idea but of course you can put whatever you like.

Floating candles in a tall vase is always nice. You can get the stuff wholesale and you'll save a lot of $$ on centerpieces.

We are using clear bowls filled with water and red rose petals with floating candles in them. We are also going to have rose petals and votives throughout the tables as well.
I really don't like floral CPs at all so I'm thrilled we are doing this instead

I LOVE with a capital L that first CP it is PERFECT for my wedding ... I am doing something similar ( shorter cylinder vases with floating candles on mirrors with scattered rose pedals and votives) ...BUT OH how I would love to have that first pic for my CP's.

I am using Hurricane goblets that we ordered off Dillard's.com, and getting candles to put in them. When we ordered them, they were on sale for $12/set of 3. Normally they are $20/set. During the year, it appears they only have clear and amber in this style, and then for holiday season they add red. So if we have more than 16 tables, we're screwed lol.

Hmmm.. well since no one will be able to feel them, I dont see why you couldn't use fake ones ( like @ Michael's) ...... some of those flowers look surprising real.... IMO

My friend who got married in January did candelabras (provided by the RH) and she bought tons of crystals-loose and stranded. The looose crystals were draped around the candelabras and loose stones around them in the center of the table. It looked STUNNING. Plus she did the amber toned uplighting so every table was shimmering. I don't have a pic, but trust me it was

my sister did 3 candle sticks, different heights with fabric wrapped around the base . i'll try and find a pic it was really pretty.
i'm doing paper lanterns on a brown runner.

They have them for $1 a piece on that dollar site... OMG what's it called??? Dollar something! I KNOW SOMEONE KNOWS THIS SITE!!!!
Not only do they have those glass pieces but they have the mirrors for the table as well for $1 a piece! That's a steal!
