Non Rehearsal Dinner DInner....
So we aren't having a rehearsal the night before and we just simply have nothing more to spend to do the whole 'Rehearsal DInner' thing plus aside from the wedding we are also doing a Brunch the next morning. However, most of us are staying in the hotel the night before (coming from NJ, SI and Brooklyn) and my godparents from NC will be in as well. SO we figure everyone is gonna need to get dinner so we should all go out together. But AWKWARD... WE just CANNOT pay for all these people (I'm at a list in my head of 14 so far). How do I phrase this to people to come with if they'd like but we are not treating? I feel weird...Also.. what is a decent, not expensive place for this many people to relax and eat near the Farmingdale Marriott? I know Rt 110 has tons of stuff so any recommendations would be great before I start searching blindlessly myself. Thanks brides!! :) XO

maybe just let everyone know that there is a great restaurant that you and your FH will be eating at the night before and they are more than welcome to join you! That way, they will know you're not treating... not sure of any good restaurants though lol

I think there is a Chili's right by the Marriot, I know it's not fancy but it's very reasonable. It u want a little bit of a step up there is Library Cafe or Cara Cara on Main Street....Croxleys Ale House is cool too

Cara cara on Main Street is soooo good! Went there on a date night with FH and he was impressed with the pricing for the quality of the food( very reasonable)

I totally caved into my FH and mom who both said Houlihan's would be the right choice. I looked over their menu and found things i would eat so it's all good now :)

i don't think there is a 'nice' way to invite OOT guests to dinner and expect them to pay. Personally if you cant afford it, don't invite other people to dinner. I think your guests would expect you to pay since that is customaryWelcome New Vendors
