Hi, I am looking for suggestions of vendors that are a little different then the norm. I am very untraditional and looking for vendors that are different. Vendors that think outside the box. Vendors with totally unique style. Any florists, photography, wedding planners, makeup, hair and videography. Thanks.

Re: Non-traditional/unique vendor suggestions...
For photography, I suggest Angelica Glass, her site is www.angelicaglass.com. She's very creative and definitely not traditional. Tell her Sasha sent you. Good luck!

I have looked at her site before, do you mind if I asked you how much you paid for her? Thanks.

You didn't mention Dj.. Mine is nuts. He looks a little funny but he is a singing Dj. He does the normal dj stuff and then him and his female partner sing throughout. Soft music when needed and more fun stuff later. HE IS SOOOOO GOOD! He doesn't do the crazy giveaways or anything.

angelica glass's wedding package is priced at 1350 and includes: all proofs, negatives, cds of the digital files, all digital editing including colorizations which are no charge, unlimited film, all day coverage and an engagement shoot!
Ireneinchicago also posted some beautiful and unique pictures in the Brides Review a month or two ago. Her photographer was Jamie Collins. www.jamiecollinsphotography.com. I believe she is based out of CT, but will travel to LI.
For hair, try Matt Yeandle:

Thanks for posting the Angelica info! I actually didn't book her, but looked into her and thought her work was very good and from our emails gathered that she is not your 'typical' traditional photogrpaher.

If you are looking for a creative and original cake maker withOUT the 'wedding' prices.... try Collette Foley. She designed our cake specifically for the vineyard theme, but she can do anything. And they are soooo yummy!!!!!!!!!!! Her web site is:
Thank you so much for Matt, he is amazing. I just wrote to him. That is the type of stuff I am looking for. Is he very expensive? Did you use him?

For Video, I would try Timeless Treasures. He is a vedor on this board. His name is Ray, he owns the business. He is the only video guy, and he just loves to do his job. I was very impressed with his work.

I also got Matt's info and his price range is definitely 'normal', there are definitely people pricier and less pricier, but he seems amazing.
My florist is very untraditional and in our meeting brought in pics of international wedding flowers. She is also a budget vendor and very reasonable. www.jennblossoms.com

Does anyone know where Matt is located by any chance? And if we will travel the day of? I sent him an email and I am waiting for a response, but in the meantime I just thought I'd ask!
