Anyone have those friends that are still stuck in the 'high school' frame of mind? Everything is DRAMA. It's all about going out, drinking, hooking up, and GOSSIPING.

I'm seriously ready to start cutting people out of my life because I can't take their cr@p anymore.

OMG I totally know what you mean. I have one and no matter how hard I try to let her see that she has to stop doing the things that she does the more frustrated I get. She's a smart girl with a lot to offer, I wish she knew that.

. i have friends who i feel like that about. i just spend less time with them......you know, see them in 'doses.' its always a blast. i love them and we've been friends for so long that i consider them family. .........the kind of family you love and hate at the same time but know that u'll alway be blessed to have them in ur life.

yeah but how do you cut people out that have been in your life for 15-20 years??? just because they are at a different point in their life?

This is why I have just a handful of friends...There was always too much drama and bickering, it wasnt worth it...
My LIW friends are much better friends/people than my old friends could ever be!!!!!

Oooh Oooh is it anyone that I don't like much and would love to keep out of your life???!!! LoL.... I can assume who this is, but I won't say anything because I have friends that are like that too...

i have one friend from high school who i consider a best friend. i can tell her everything & anything. however she is stuck in high school way of life. after high school she moved to new jersey so if she wants to go out she wants me to sleep over her house. i am like hello, i live with my FH i sleep at home.

then she does the drunk phone calls in the middle of the night. drives me crazy. i just wanna say, been there, done there. your 25 years old please grow up!!!

Unfortunately this happens all the time. I was BFF with a girl for 22 years and she cut me out of her life because she was getting married and I guess her husband didnt like me. We used to hang out ALLLLL the time and then one day it was gone.

But now, we are getting to be in the same place again and I could see us being friends again.

I've said it on LIW many times. I really don't have any friends and for the most part its because I cant be bothered with the drama. I'm not going to fight to keep anyone in my life, if they want to leave then leave. The people who really want to be there will be there and hopefully drama free.

yeah.. people are just annoying. I've found that it doesn't matter if they are married or not. That just means there are 2 people able to spread gossip quicker.

I only know like 1 person who graduated in 99...I was in 8th grade then sooo...i didnt really hang out w/ high schoolers lol

I have VERY few friends. I cant stand that people find the need to do any of this stuff after the age of say 21. If you want to do this stuff in college then fine. After college Grow up! I see people I went to school with and they tell me about all the stuff they are doing like I care...then ask me and when i tell them i am engaged and have been with Gaby for 5 years then tell me I am an *sshole for getting married.

This is why all my friends are married or are engaged.

I'm the same way, I have friends since I'm four years old that I've grown apart from because I don't want to go out and do the same immature things that they do... I love being engaged, and love that I'm going to be married soon, and while they are happy for me, they want me to go out on weekends and get drunk and stuff... While that can be very fun its not something I want to do every weekend....

Also I've had friends break up with their significant others because they saw that Colleen and I have only been together for a little over 2 years and were engaged already, where they were with their significant others longer and didn't want to take the leap... Once the girls saw that they started asking, and my friends wound up single...

Either way I've made some good friends recently and while I will never lose my old friends, its good to have new ones that are in a different place in life...

im the complete opposite of you Shawn. of all my friends... im the baby. all my friends are married and have kids... own houses and what not.

i dont have this problem with my friends. however, some of Jackie's friends are a different story.
