S. Bellmore is south of Merrick Rd where the houses are a bit bigger--and very modern--almost all of them--which keep the area at a higher value b/c its closer to the water---
North Bellmore is anything north of Jerusalem Ave and Bellmore is in between.....

it really depends on what you are looking for & the price range...Houses in S. Bellmore are expensive & very rare to find anything less then $550K!!! We are looking in this area & it is hard to come by...It also depends on the style of house...Mostly South Bellmore is high ranches, splanchs, some splits & some colonials (not many)
