north face jackets?

I figured I would ask my LIW girls since you girls know everything...

does anyone know if the counterfeit people are making North Face jackets? I just got a North Face jacket on ebay and I am afraid it might be a counterfeit. Im really hoping its not. I hate counterfeits.

i think there are actually articles on ebay on how to tell if name brand items are fake.... i came across it somehow...

what makes you think its fake? if you got it for a complete steal, it prob is

no i paid $70 for it and what the seller wrote and the pictures looked authentic, but then I saw more things in their store and it looked like a bunch of fake Juicy track suits ive seen before and I know for a fact they were counterfeit.

Maybe I am just thinking too much about it. I mean counterfeiting has become so good that its hard to tell. I guess I will compare with the other one I have when it comes.

Just wanted to know if anyone has heard of these jackets being counterfeited.

yes they can be counterfit you can tell my the feathers on the hood. The feathers on a real northface are very fine and soft looking on a counterfit they look very fuzzy and do not really move hope this makes sense.

I ordered the denali jacket so it doesnt have feathers. I have another one, so I will just compare it when I get it I guess.

I know it's annoying usually. If you see that the vendor has alot of the same items for sale that usually is a red flag for me.

Someone tried to sell my FSIL a Chloe bag that feel from the truck it was 100% and they swore we could go to Saks and they confirm the bag was real. The bag was all over ebay.

Theres counterfeit everything.lol...
I only buy northfaces from there website or the stores because they offer lifetime warranties.but if its fake they wont.

ive gotten my north face that i use for snowboarding from the outlet in woodbury... saved alot on it actually

They do make fake North Face. The material usually gives it away and the thinness of the fabric is a giveaway as well. If it's not authentic, just report the seller to Ebay. BTW, Macy's has Northface jackets and Macys is notorious for the 20% off coupons - get one from there.

Im not sure if north face is included..... i know they exclude alot of the more expensive brands and btw, they totally suck for that

Oh cool I didnt know you could report them to ebay. FH is the ebay expert in our relationship. I am a complete novice when it comes to that site. He had to show me how to bid lol. I am slowly becoming an addict.
