I was just on their site and I wish that they never put those desks in the lobby - it looked so much nicer with out them and with the piano there.......oh well

I actually like the desk better. I wasn't a big fan of the piano - it was so out of tune when I was there.

I havent seen it in person - but the more i see the pics with the desk lobby area the more I like it. I really need to go see it in person though.
What is everyone doing for cocktail hour music? Friends of FH and I went to a wedding there and they had a harpist playing - i was thinking of that...

It's okay, because it's off to the side of the door, I feel like it doesn't draw to much attention, but I think it kinda grows on you.

That sounds nice a Harpist - we are just having one or two pieces from our band play during cocktail hour.

We're having 3 of our band members play during the CH - kind of like a jazz ensemble.

I agree. When I went to see the new lobby in person I was so disappointed. I hated how it looked especially since they had liquor bottles and various picture frames and other items stacked on the shelves. Also, when you first walk in the front doors you can see directly behind the desk, post it notes hanging, pens, a stapler etc. and I thought it looked very unprofessional for a caterer.
