North Ritz Brides
Me again with an update!
Just wanted to let you all know that my friend went to a wedding at NRC yesterday and she said the place was great! Her boyfriend only drinks water and everytime he turned around his glass was filled. She said the cocktailhour food was really good and there was soo much. Her chicken dish (chicken with mozz.) wasn't that good she said. The people who got it didn't like it. She said the stuffed sole with crabmeat looked really good and those people loved it. Outside looked great and there was no problem with the valet parking. She did say that it got very hot in there! The bride and groom were actually sweating! Make sure you ask about the AC if you are getting married in the summer! One bad remark, the house DJ. She said he wasn't very good. He didn't play good music and noone danced all night!! Not even the bride and groom. She THINKS it was the house DJ, but not sure!
Hope this helps!
She said a man walked around asking everyone if everything is OK and if they need anything. They really catered to the guets' needs! Good to hear!
My guess is that the man was Gus, nut I am not sure!!

Re: North Ritz Brides
Not sure if this is a bad or good review! At least I am not using the house DJ. I have SAS...who always seems to get good reviews....only 3 months to my NRC wedding!

Re: North Ritz Brides
I'm having my wedding there next August. I will definitely make sure they have the A/C pumping. I'm such a grouch when I get hot. As for the DJ, I'll be having a band so I'm not too worried about that. As long as the food is good and plentiful and the guests are well taken care of, I'm sure things will be great and everyone will have fun! Let me know if you girls hear any more reviews. I don't know anyone having a wedding there except for the girls on this board. You guys have been such great help!!

Re: North Ritz Brides
I just had my wedding at NRC this past Sunday. The place was beautiful!! I used the house DJ, his name was Joey Bova, and he (and his price) was excellent! I highly recommend him. He had everyone up on the dance floor. In fact, I didn't sit down the whole night! My photographer and video was from Cassarino...also very good. As for the food, I never had a better meal at a wedding than my own. George, who was our mater'd (spelling?), was very cooperative and attentive to our guests. My bridal attendant, Elvira, helped with my dress and the bustle, and had plenty of food brought up to the bridal suite. Yes, it was HOT...outside...but when we came inside, it was cool and comfortable. Of course you're going to get hot, you're wearing a ten pound dress the whole night! So to sum everything up, the North Ritz Club was a wonderful place to get married at and I'm glad I chose it.

I'm so glad to hear something very positive about the North Ritz. Who did you use for flowers, I heard you get a deal if you use the house florist. Congrads on becoming a Mrs.!

Aug4 It is so funny. My engagement party dress is practically the same as your bridesmaid dresses. I also want black for my girls. I am glad to hear your wedding there was great since I booked the NRC for next July. Did you have the viennese tables for dessert?Welcome New Vendors
