North Ritz Brides-

Are you upgrading your linens to the beautiful upgrade they have? I am considering it...how about you?
PS I can't go to the food tasting the end of this month...looking forward to your reviews and recommendations to help us plan our menu!

I met with Ida this weekend (such a wonderful help!) and she gave me a swatch of the napkin to bring to the florist since I want cream centerpieces. The napkin is striped (almost similar to a tuxedo stripe) and the tablecloth is same color variation but more of a pattern to it. It looks so rich but the upgrade costs approx. $450.
What do you think?

I think it is very, very pretty!! I don't know if I would pay an exra $450. though? I think it seems a bit unfair that you have to pay extra for something like this. I have seen this type of linen many times before, I never imagined it cost extra to get something like this. Don't other halls offer this standard? What do the standard linens look like?

i never heard of this either. Maybe we can find more info out at the March 23 (?) thing..

I think it is wierd that this would be an upgrade for $450. Why would they charge for that??? I don't like that they would charge for such a petty thing.....is this common??

i cant wait for the march 25th tasting!!! my FH wont be able to come b/c he is going to a band showcase at the watermill, so i may bring my mom. i am so excited!!!

since we booked at NRC in august i have not heard from them at all, nor have i contacted them. i keep sending the $$ though! i feel like i'm behind since you all seem to be talking to them regularly! what should i be doing?? wedding is end of october- haven't heard a word about tastings. should i call them?
