North Ritz Brides

How did you pick your menu, did you go to a tasting? I was told that they usually do not do tastings for the bride and groom. Any info. would be greatly apprciated.

I was there too! I'm getting married there 6-25-04 (we just booked). What vendors did you like? Anyone book any of the house vendors?

I did get your email! Thank you so much! I'm signing the contract on Tuesday (we set the date aside until we spoke with the church) so I'll have a lot to discuss with them....

Re: North Ritz Brides

i booked 2 of their house vendors...Royalty limos and Starlight express DJs ( i honestly didn't know they were house vendors when i booked them).

You can see the gas station from the cocktail room and that is where the fence is going.

Does anyone know why they might not have the chilean sea bass??? I'm very upset over this

colleen--CONGRATS!! you will not be dissapointed-that place is a class act--I think the secret is getting out so it's good that we're all booking early!

ya know i never noticed that you could see the gas station from the coctail hour room---tuesday night you couldn't see anything for beans it was so crowded! LOL thanks for the info-sorry i don't anything about the chilean sea bass??

Re: North Ritz Brides

Chilean Sea Bass is endangered and it has really been considered politically incorrect to serve it for a while (I'm a teacher/waitress and our restaurant took it off the menu). They will serve swordfishif you ask - I LOVE swordfish (I haven't tased it from NRC though) just a thought....

So, based on your tastings...which cocktail-hour stations would you pick and which entrees? I am still sad I couldn't go! Did they say that if sea bass is off the menu what would they replace it with?

Re: North Ritz Brides

They said they would replace it with tilapia (it wasn't very good. It was very dry), halibut, salmon or swordfish. The salmon was very good. They didn't have swordfish or halibut at the tasting
