I didn't even think to ask that. And they didnt say anything about that....is the upgrade expensive? How are they different?
i drove by there today, did not notice any fence!! i am going there tomorrow so i will ask to see what they say about it!!
Yes they have ivory linens, that is what I chose. I think the upgrade was $300 or $400, I'm not quite sure.
Is it really worth the $300-400 to upgrade the linens? How bad are the other linens? Has anyone heard anything new about the Chilean Sea Bass? Do they still have it? Almost 4 more months to go!! Yahoo!!
I just booked the North Ritz this past week and the menu they gave us included the Chilean Sea Bass...that is as far as i know though.
They told me the same thing jillybean about the linens, but I chose ivory anyway. I also picked chilean sea bass, it is definately on the menu.
So I went to drop off some of my things for the wedding, and I have somewhat good news. They put up a fence at Jericho Tpke that covers about 2/3 of it, some of it is still visible. If you are standing by the gazebo area, you cannot see Jericho at all. They also put up a fence where the cars are parked at the back of the hall, so they are out of sight.
That is wonderful! Progress on the fence!!! Are they planning on doing anymore do you know (To block all of Jericho Tpke?) Can't wait to see it!
His answer was vague about the rest of the fence. Something about it not being part of their property. He kept saying they are working on it, whatever that means.
They do have a fence up and it's a beige color (used to be white). It blends a lot better with the place - looks really nice. I too was concerned at first with it being right on Jericho Tpke., but when you think about it most catering halls are right on a main road. And not to mention that most people will be inside most of the evening and won't really be concerned about it. In any event, the place is beautiful.
