North Ritz - whats the story?

A friend is considering booking North Ritz very soon - any feedback about it?

Sonic-I have nothing but positive to say about NRC. FM me if you have specific questions.

I posted my pictures many times so you are probably sick of them. I also have some pictures (not that great) I took during my planning stages of the place. FM with you email address if you want me to send them to you.

I'll be at a wedding there March 14th.

Sonic- here are a link to my wedding photos. I had a couple posts with my pictures so this is easier than searching for them.

Beware there are a ton of pictures from all parts of the event and some are from proofs and some are from friends and family and some are table cameras...

Re: North Ritz - whats the story?

Hope this helps. I am from Queens originally - not LI - so it may not help everyone.

I got my hair done locally in a shop on Crossbay Blvd in Howard Beach. The shop is Explosion and the woman is Anna. She did my mom's hair and SIL as well.

My makeup was a woman named Laura. She is the manager at the Perscriptives counter in Bloomingdales in Roosevelt field. She is so sweet and did a great job. She came to my house. She did my makeup, my MOH, SIL and mom. My mom didn't want face makeup and was really nervous and I thought she did a great job of calming my mom and with the results. Laura was recommended by a friend whose whole family uses her for weddings and they have had 3 girls get married so far!!

Niecey, how much does Laura charge? And, you said she came to your house? Also, what makeup brands/products did she use - or did you pick your own? Thanks!

Rach-Thank you! You have me laughing here!!! Is it funny to see my pictures know that you know me (and Lou)? The bride doing shots is a table camera picture...good one, huh?

Maragarita girl! I couldn't believe you and Larry the other night...were you totally hurting the next day?

Re: North Ritz - whats the story?

I was totally fine on Saturday. I got up kind of late for me (like 11ish) but otherwise I was fine. Lou couldn't belive I got home so late - he didn't expect it! Eating and sticking to mostly beer (no mixing the margaritas) usually keeps me fine. I wasn't too drunk on Friday - not anything near last time!
