Actually that was my next question! It was disappointing? I was thinking about renting that if I couldn't find Nosferatu... guess not.

Nosoupforyou.
I haven't seen it, but heard it is almost identical to Bram Stoker's Dracula. That doesn't help.
ETA: Why the vampire interest?

Re: Nosferatu
Well, it was weird. But I guess you kinda know that going into it.
I guess it was dissapointing, b/c it wasn't the kind of weird that I could relate to? You should rent it though. DH is the only other person I know who has seen it ( we rented it) & I'd like to hear another opinion.
Yes, rent it for my benefit, not neccessarily yours!

Re: Nosferatu
My brother recommended it since I liked Cabinet of Dr. Caligari. And Mr Boots is out of town so I can watch all the German Expressionist films I want!

No, the concept was basically plagerized, but it is different. Damn Liz, now you've got me all curious!

Re: Nosferatu
I think my brother's girlfriend saw 'Shadow' or someone in my family did. There was mocking involving John Malkovich but I can't remember why...

Your kind, I guess!
(And to clarify, I think I didnt' liek it, b/c the characters were not very sympathetic & the end was anti-climactic.)

Re: Nosferatu
Saw it in film class in college.
It was interesting to see the origin of so many vampire movies and how many of them ripped off things from it....I mean paid homage!!
And I must say that being made before special effects and CGI, it scared me more than most scary movies now do!!
