Not as much fun as I thought it would be

Registering. Perhaps because I've been a football widow all day? But I also am noticing I can't make a decision on what I like. I'm all over the place. Anyone else...

Are you just feeling really overwhelmed maybe? The woman who was helping me gave me some great advice, take it a room a week. It seemed a little more manageable then.

I agree take it slow...I found it easier to do it online... at your pace. The store was fun with the little gun but it did get overwhelming. Just take it room by room

Def. take it slow. I made mine a loong time ago, and now I just go back and add or delete items. I change my mind soo many time! LOL

It's not necessarily you - I had a ton of fun registering at Crate and Barrel, but seriously wanted to murder someone when I was at Macy's. Definitely a BAD experience. I came home and redid the entire thing online

It can definitely be overwhelming...I like doing it online so much better than the store. I would suggest only doing major items in store that you want to see quality of, and little things leave for online so you can do it at your own pace.

i understand ... i actually did 60% of it online! it was so much easier to sit in the comfort of my own room with no one else around so i could pick out what i wanted ... of course i looked at the important stuff in person but for the most part i just clicked clicked clicked!

Put it this way.. the minute i saw the subject of your post I knew what you were talking about!! We did it a few times before I actually somewhat enjoyed the process.. we didn't know what we were doing!! Don't worry

OMG I was so stressed when I started to register. I was afraid I would duplicate things and forget others that I really want. It should be fun though! Have you met with someone at the physical store to help you pick out essentials?

I was lost too. I just added a bunch of stuff online, never even went to any of the stores. I know that is awful.

Sorry that you did not find it fun...FH and I did it together and we had a great time. We still need to add a bunch of stuff as the wedding gets closer b/c we did not put linens etc. on yet b/c they tend to change with the seasons and I did not want to have to deal with items being discontinued.

I started online last night and was having so much fun. Today i went with FSIL to BBB to see the duvet cover I want in person - didn't have it. I also wanted to see the two different pfaltzgraff patterns - didn't have them. I called the outlets in riverhead and the pfaltzgraff store there closed. I think it's just a bad day!

I totally agree!!!!!! In the stores it takes forever!!! I went on Sat and after like 4 items, I was EXHAUSTED with FH. I also found it easier to do the registry without FH.... we tried doing it together online the 1st day and that turned into a disaster!!! So, I did it online little by little... dont expect to do it all in one day... take it slow

the first day... fh & i were in the store yelling at one another .... so u can only imagine.... the 2nd time we went was much better... and now ive been adding and deleting things online.... it gets better... lol dont worry

the first time FH and i registered it was more of like a browsing. we put stuff on our registry , but i think it was more of like an impulse, cause it was cool to scan. By the time we got home we had changed our minds and were like o we should of done that or did this...and we went like a month later it was SOOO much easier
