Not carrying flowers?

Hey everyone!

So I saw this wedding show where the FH said he didnt want cut flowers at his wedding because to him they represented death because they were dying...

but it made me think- has anyone ever thought of not doing any flowers at their wedding? doing something else?

Im thinking of doing crystal wedding trees as centerpieces, but not sure of what you could use to carry down the aisle - any ideas???

Honestly I've never heard of this. I have no idea what else a bride would carry down theaisle?!

I am all about the flowers but I like the idea of the crystal centerpieces... sounds beautiful!

I briefly thought about doing a silk flower bouquet - for somereason i hate the idea of cutting flowers - i know its not the same as cutting a tree down but it still bothers me (lol i have issues).

For the reception we are doing candle centerpieces.

Melania Trump, Trumps latest wife walked down the aisle carrying her gransmother's rosary beads and a beautiful lace hankercjief. The look was simple yet stunning and had people focusing on her and her beautiful gown.

The cyrstal flowers are lovely but I love my flowers and don't think I would use anything else.

thanks so much!!! the porcelain ones are gorgeous!!!
I was thinking then you could use something that you would have FOREVER and then you could tailor the bridesmaids' bo-ks or whatever they are going to hold to their own personalities - maybe even have something written on it (on the bottom etc) so that they can save them too - something pretty they could have in their house etc. does that make sense??
