is anyone else just slightly freaking out about the reality of getting married?!?! granted- love FH to death, been together since we were 14- almost 10 years already but I feel like it's just all so surreal and I just feel like this is a bigger reality check than graduating from college lol! i think I'm just nervous about 'officially' being on my own!!!

Absolutely not! I can't wait for the next chapter of our lives. I wish we didn't have to wait until next June.

No. I already feel like we are married. We have been together for 7 years and living together for a little under a year, I wish our wedding was this year so that we can make it official already :)

Sometimes when it hits me I get nervous. Not about marrying FH but just how much my life is changing in just a year's time. Living together now, then Married, Buying a house, moving. Its scary to think that a year and a half from now my life will be completely different then It was even 6 months ago! Also I'm turning 30 this year...now that is scary! haha

I feel the same way, I can't wait to be married but my life is going to be so drastically different after the wedding, FH and I don't even live together now! It's a little scary.

Not at all. I can't wait til we get married. Even though me and my FH only been together a year, things felt right with us on the pace we were going. We been living together for 5 months and it feels like we are married..lol..We can't wait to make it official! We both couldn't be happier!

I'm not nervous about marrying FH but I'm more nervous about moving out of my parents' house for good and officially entering the real world. Some days are going to be hard but I know FH will be there for me.

I think it depends on how you see marriage. For some marriage is just signing a piece of paper and nothing changes, but for others it's everything that they say in your vows. I think getting married is a HUGE deal and should not be taken for granted. It's totally normal to feel nervous about it, but for me it's like an excited nervousness. Like right before you're about to get on a ride in Disney World lol.

I'm not nervous at all, but we've been together for so long that I feel like we're practically married anyway! I just panic about money... ACCCKKKKKKKK.

I think I would probably describe my feelings as anxious. I'm an excited-nervous for the actual wedding itself, the party going smoothly, nothing horrible taking place, etc. FH and I have been living together for almost 3 years so not much is changing until we have kids.

But I think it's normal if you're nervous about moving out of your parents house for the first time.

Latley, I've been feeling more like I just don't want the big party that we are planning. I think that's the main reason why I have not been contributing to this site as much as I used to. I'd love to save the money we are spending and just get married now with people we are closest to. I've expressed this to FH but he kinda gives me a reality check that I'm going to regret not having the wedding I really wanted!
Everyone has nerves when it comes to getting married!

I'm nervous about everything that comes AFTER marriage. I don't think much will change initially since we started dating at 15 (took a break in college) and have been living together. But the thought of buying a house (MORTGAGE), KIDS, car payments, etc. really frerak me out. Part of me thinks 'i'm only 25, I have time for all of that' but then the other part of me says 'How am I 25 already?! Where did my early twenties go?!'. I just try not to think too much about the far future and enjoy the next few years

I also kind of feel this way. Imagine what we could do with the money we are spending on this wedding? My parents are paying for a majority of it so we don't really have a say but part of me would love for them to just write me a check for the amount they are spending so we can put it towards our future.

With that being said, I think 20 years from now we will be happy we had the big party and the beautiful photos to look back on

I was scared because it was the first time i was moving out of my house. It was upsetting more than it was scary. Got used to it in no time. It passes. Dont worry =)

I have always been very independent and hated being tied-down. I had thought that getting married would make me nervous. But surprisingly enough, I'm not at all anxious. I feel like this is so right and I can't wait to start this phase of my life with FH. This is a HUGE move for me, since I had never been in a serious relationship before FH, but I feel ready. I am excited nervous though, the way I always feel before I do something major.
