is anyone else just slightly freaking out about the reality of getting married?!?! granted- love FH to death, been together since we were 14- almost 10 years already but I feel like it's just all so surreal and I just feel like this is a bigger reality check than graduating from college lol! i think I'm just nervous about 'officially' being on my own!!!
Posted by LadyReeRee d is a HUGE deal and should not be taken for granted. It's totally normal to feel nervous about it, but for me it's like an excited nervousness. Like right before you're about to get on a ride in Disney World lol.
This!
I cannot wait to spend the rest of my life with FH and I am so looking forward to everything thats going to come... but I am nervous. But its an excited nervous. Like an 'OMG I CAN'T BELIEVE I'M ABOUT TO DO THIS!!!' kinda nervous.
What I'm more nervous about is what comes AFTER... like the mortgage and the house and the babies and just growing up in general.
I'm currently freaking out about turning 25 more than I am about getting married.

I am so beyond excited to marry FH- he's amazing and I'm so excited to start a new chapter with him! I get nervous about the actual wedding like the flowers being the wrong color or me tripping while walking down the aisle because I'm so clumsy lol but not about anything else!

I am super excited to marry FH. We live together now, so it practically feels like we are married. LOL. I am nervous though to walk down the aisle in front of all those people. I am the type of person that doesn't like too much attention. So hopefully I don't get an anxiety attack!

I understand where you coming from! I've been really close with my family and I still live with them. 'when I start thinking about being married and being on my own, its kinda crazy because its like wow...im going to create my own little family now.
I clearly understand
however, I do start to think about my FH and how wonderful, supportive and genuine he is and makes me happy and excited to be on my own with him by my side...=)

I think it depends on how you see marriage. For some marriage is just signing a piece of paper and nothing changes, but for others it's everything that they say in your vows. I think getting married is a HUGE deal and should not be taken for granted. It's totally normal to feel nervous about it, but for me it's like an excited nervousness. This is my opinion as well! Great way to put it!

yeah I'm not nervous. I moved out and went to college in Florida at 19 and I've been on my own ever since so I don't have that extra bit of 'new chapter' nerves because we also already live together. Being married and looking for a home are things I am REALLY looking forward to and we can't wait!!
