not good at all

so my laptop died. Hard drive is fried. Everything wedding related is gone including all my kids grades. I am one devastated girl

How close are you to a best buy? Go see the geek squad first thing in the morning. They should be able to help.

oh no!! I had the same thing happen a few months ago! I think if you take it to Best Buy for about $100 they can retrieve your info and put it on a flash drive...don't quote me on it though

MY FH is a geek squad. He is an IT guy as well as all his friends. Its done and its definitely the hard drive

Oh I hear ya...my laptop died with every picture I had taken in the past 2 years. Hard drive couldn't be recovered, except in a clean room for $1600 or some ridiculous amount like that.

I feel your pain!!!!! I'm sorry.

they might be able to fix it. Danny's comptuer died during finals one year and the tech people were able to retrieve a lot of his files. Dont give up hope!

oh its 100% gone. Trust me. I brought it to FH's friend's house tonight. If he cannot fix it its done. FH's friends are as computer hacker geek as they come. They work down here in D.C for the government. It's definitely done, i just have to come to terms with it now

Oh I am soooo sorry!

That is my biggest nightmare so I bought a 40G drive to store all my pictures and important docs on. To others who have laptops....do this!
