He doesn't think the BM's shoudl wear an off white dress...he's totally freaking out! I'm not happy with the decision either, but I'm so tired of dealing with the BM's....that I just gave in today!

I can't say I don't agree with him. You're the bride, and you should be the only one in white! You need to tell your BM they are not in charge girl!

NO WAY! I think FH is right. I wouldn't want the BMs wearing the same color (or an extremely similar color!). You need to tell the BMs that while you value their opinions, it is your wedding and they need to support your decisions. That is just rude of them.
Ugh - good luck! It is hard to tell friends what to do or not do (I know I am personally a Yes person), but you are paying $$$$ for this wedding - so you want it perfect (don't let your BMs or MOH's bossiness push you into making decisions you aren't 100% happy with - it is YOUR wedding).

don't give into them if YOU'RE NOT HAPPY!! If it's something, you want/like, than so be it, but you need to put your foot down!

I originally didn't think it was a big deal b/c it looks champagne in the pic and it's gorgeous but it sounds like you really don't want it either. Be happy with your choices tell them to pick another color.

YOU NEED TO BE HAPPY!!!!!!!! FH is right , only YOU should be in white..or anything near it... and if you were ok with it, then fine, BUT youre NOT and YOU are the BRIDE! CHANGE THE COLOR

Thanks so much girls! I really love the dress, and it seriously comes in so many colors. What I am going to do is talk to them (BM's) tomorrow and tell them that it's just too close to my dress...and that we can go a shade darker. I know it doesn't look off-white in the swatch (cashmere) but it really is off-white in person. I'm going to suggest (no, tell) them that I want the more golden darker color - maize.
I agree with the other girls, Christine, don't give in.. if I can stand up to my sister (MOH) you can do it too!

I think the color is really nice, and will look good next to your dress. I don't think it will take away from your dress at all. Your dress and there dresses are totally different. If you are really concerned, I would change the color. Its your wedding, not theirs.

Definitely pick a new color. You have to be happy with it. I originally was set on pale green, but ended up going with black!! I'm really happy now and everyone loves the idea of black... now I don't have to worry about the BM dresses being 'too light' which was bothering me too.

I wrote an email to one of the BM's and MOH - BM is adorable - love her...said that she didn't care what color it was, the dress is gorgeous, and that whatever I wanted goes....NOW I just have to wait to hear from the MOH, who's my best friend, but I'm just so worried that she's going to hate the color...I'll keep y'all updated.

seriously, she will wear it for 7 hours, ONE day in her life. if she doesn't like it after that, tell her to sell it on ebay!
it's not like you are asking her to wear orange with purple stripes....THIS is what happens when we try to be nice...so now, take the gloves off luv, and get the dress AND color YOU want!

Thanks! I went on in the email and stated that I saw six girls getting measured at RK last night for CHRISTMAS GREEN thin satin and beaded dresses - it could be so much worse!
