not happy- vendor rant!!!

yesterday i was driving around and going to different florists to get an idea of how much things like a boquet, coursage, etc. cost.

3 places were so nice and even wrote me out an estimate.

one place wasn't so nice!! he told me he cannot stop everything and help me..i said i understand i just wanted to get an idea.....he said do u know what u want...i told him i wanted something simple and inexpensive........he said 'flowers may appear to be simple to people like you but a lot more goes into it' and he said that 'it's your wedding and you're worried about being cheap?'

i was flabbergasted........he said again,,,he can't stop people need his flowers so i have to set up an appointment....

i told him i don't want to set up an appointment with someone like that...then i left and cried.

he was SOOOOOOOOOO MEAN!!!

BTW- these were local small florists.....not big wedding vendors- i would have made an appt. i was just looking though!!! Gosh!

Oh that's terrible. I'm so sorry he upset you. Forget about him. It's his lose. Now he doesn't get to do your wedding or anyone else you knows wedding either, probably.

Count yourself lucky that you learned that this guy was a jerk before you wasted the time of an appointment, or worse, actually booked him. He might have been nice during the meeting but showed his true colors later.

Wedding planning is stressful enough, you don't need to deal with this sort of crap!

He could of just explained that he would prefer you to make an appt.

OMG who were they?? I called a place to get some price quotes over the phone too when I was looking and got some guy so similar to that!! They make you feel like your BOTHERING them when THEY'RE the ones that should be providing US with good service.
What a jerk...dont let him ruin the fun of your planning.

How can someone talk to another person that way! That's gross!

Forget all about that nasty nasty man... most vendors are super helpful and great to work with.

Hopefully this is the last time you ever have to deal with someone like that!
