not happy with my florist

I would like to write a letter to my florist not to the effect that the quality of the flowers were poor, but the quality of the service was. I want to make sure this does not happen to any more brides. The last thing you need before your wedding is to not be confident what so ever in your florist. Any sample letters I could collaborate to get my point accross?

Yes I was completely unhappy w/my florist as well. I called and left a message and then wrote a letter. I got a full refund for my boquet since that was the worse.

I am sorry to hear you had such a horrible experience. It is amazing how one thing can make such a difference on that day. At first I was furious, then I tried to just let it go, and then through talking to people who attended the wedding and seeing pictures I found out even more. They can give you $$ back, but can not give you back for that day!

I understand what you are feeling too. I had quite a few mistakes with my florist... even though the flowers were beautiful. She didn't bring my aisle runner which how can you forget that? Every bride dreams about walking down the aisle on the runner... My BM bouquets were supposed to have some cream colored roses in them to help them pop out from the dresses and not blend in. Now nobody really noticed any of this but my MOH, my Mom and I. I did complain but all they offered me was $100 store credit!!!!!! Why would I want store credit???

I forunately LOVEd my flowers but had many many issues with our hall so had to write a letter. Eseentially the best thing to do is NOT get emotional..be factual. Include pics if you have them of what you were unhappy about. Those speak 1000 words.

If you get emotional, they will turn off. But if you're polite and factual, gets your point across better, same as ina verbal debate. Be concise. what you can say at the end is that it is not about the money, but simply that you wnated the manager to be aware of what occured so it will never happen to another bride because the day cannot be gotten back and that is where the sadness comes from. good luck.

I was extremely unhappy with my florist, my cps looked nothing like the sample I approved, we paid for 3 types of flowers and only got 2 in it, and the sample had no green as it was said in my contract, and they had a ton of green in them, all my girls boq's fell apart, to the point that the florist had to show up at the hall, in the end he took them back to his shop without telling anyone! and we had no boq's for a lot of the pics!! they also forgot one of my flower girls kissing balls and showed up late with that, and it wasn't even the same!! also the two flower girls wreaths for thier hair we not the same even though they were supposed to be.. and then to top it all of, my boq had only 13 flowers in it when it was supposed to have about 40, which cost $200!!!! and I had broken flowers that I didn't notice till I saw my pictures. The worst though, was I gave them 50 flower cones, and they smashed them all, we worked so hard on them, and they didn't fill all of them so they flattened them and put them in the bottom of my basket We worked so hard on them... there are like 10 other 'little' things that they screwed up, and I have to tell you I heard they were having a lot of problems so I went just a few days before and confirmed everything!!! I'm going to take legal action against them as well as a BBB complaint. Extremely unsatisfied!!!
