NOT having a Bachelorette Party?

NOT having a Bachelorette Party?

Are there any girls out there who aren't having one? I don't think I can have one since my bridesmaids all have conflicting schedules and one lives in another state. My maid of honor comes from a culture that doesn't 'do' things like bachelorette parties, so it's difficult. Thoughts? I'm kind of at a standstill here...

I combined my ladies luncheon (instead of a shower) and my bachelorette celebration to the same day and did kinda a sleepover get-together.

The morning, my mom and some friends (many whom couldn't actually come to the wedding) came out and we had brunch at one of my favorite places. I think there were 14 of us. My MOH who lives in Boston, my SIL who lives in NC, and one of my good friends from DC all stayed with me that night and we went out to my favorite place to eat (Indian) and my favorite bar in the city and that was my whole celebration. I really had a blast, even though it was just 4 of us.

Even if it's not some sort of raunchy, sordid affair, you can still have a get-together with a few girls and make it something special and fun for you! Talk to some of your girlfriends and figure out something you enjoy that they're cool with doing with you. It doesn't have to be a big blowout celebration with male strippers and drunken debauchery to be a lot of fun and make some good memories.

I didn't really have one. A couple of my friends threw a tea party for me and then we went to a dive bar for drinks. But no real bach party. It's not my thing.

I really don't want one, but I don't seem to have a say in the matter. So i just told them I don't want anything elaborate, just some bar hopping in the city and thats about it.

My Best friend didn't have one, so instead we went to the spa at Drew Patrick in Bay Shore and then when we were all done we had lunch at Milk and Sugar which was cute.

My MOH, BM, mom, and my aunt told me to dress up and not make any plans on the Saturday before our wedding. Then we drove into the city and we went to see West Side Story (pics in my review)

then they took me to an awesome italian restaurant near all the theatres.

It was awesome and not really bachelorette party like b/c I didn't want one.

it doesn't have to be a wild crazy party - why not have dinner with a few friends or something, even a movie or drinks at your house?

My BM's are all cheap selfish biotches as I'm coming to find out and they made it clear they didn't want to throw me a bachelorette party nor a shower!!!

OMG, you have to have one if you want one. It's so far from my wedding but I can't wait to have my wild night out. Actually, my bff didn't want one when she got married so we had a spa day for her instead. You should def do something.

Didnt have one, and didnt want one. I see my girls whenever I want. I also find them to be overpriced and never much fun.

BUT if you want to have one and noones down for a 'girls night out' def look into a dinner, a wine tour on the island, or a spa day.
