Not having a Engagment party

So I am not having a party for our engagement so do you think sending out 'Iam Engaged and a registry is cheap ? what are your thoughts?

yeah go ahead send out the announcmnets but doesnt the save the dates usually compinsate for the annouincements. but yeah i would definatly 86 the registry untill your shower
