FH's and I dearest friends live in Oregon. He is his best man and best friend for years. We just found out she is pregnant and due 7 days after our wedding and may not be able to come out for the wedding. We want to cry but are very happy for them :( There is no one else he wants as a BM. I hope they just move out here in the early summer..send us your luck and love to them.

OMG, I am sooooooo sorry! But I have an idea for you: Are you getting plasma screens? You could do that and ask your FH's best man to record a speech for you beforehand, and you can play it at the reception in his absense. That way he can be there in spirit, and I think everyone would enjoy it.

That stinks. I am really sorry about that. It is upsetting when you find out that someone who really care about will not be able to share in your big day. Would your FH consider having his dad or a close relative be his best man?
