I think my cousin didnt have enough for the min but they loved the place so they paid for the extra plates and I think the RH gave them some extras.

if there is noone ele to invite short notic,i would talk 2 your rh most of te time they will throw something in to make up for it

We were 50 under our minimum. It worked out to about $8,000 that we would be paying for nothing. RH threw in some extras but nowhere near what we lost out on. (about $1500 worth of stuff) Every RH is different though so ask them what they can do, worst they can say is nothing! Good luck!

We were under by 9 people.
Our caterer threw in an extra layer to the cake. And he packed up all of the extra 9 meals for us to take home. It was actually nice to come back from the HM and have frozen complete meals waiting for us for a few nights, they held really well.
