I myself are planning from OOT anyone not living in NY but getting married in NY?

i'm from NY, live out of state (flying distance) most of the year but go back and forth to LI when I can. my family lives in NY and has been helping out a lot

Ditto! I am from NJ, my FH is from NY, however we both currently live in FL and are planning a LI wedding- I absolutely agree it is a challenge!

i'm in NJ as well - planned our LI wedding with my husband working every weekend...it made planning VERY important.

We had to schedule every minute of his days off (Tuesday & Friday)...

I'm from LI, and FH is from Pittsburgh, PA. I started out my wedding planning from Pittsburgh while I was away at school, and now FH and I just moved to Charleston, SC... so now with just 16 days until the wedding, i'm about 800 miles away!

And not only that, i'm taking my pharmacy board exams in a week! Who does that the week before their wedding? Crazy Danielle!

Needless to say, my mom has been a lifesaver. Nothing would be done without her!

Planning from California is so not fun, 3000 miles away and a time difference. Thank God my parents still live in LI they've been doing a lot of the appointments for us!

It's so nice to know that I am not alone!
my MIL has been a blessing and doing a lot of leg work for us.

How are you ladies handling the stress and the hectic planning nature from so far away? And leaving things in other peoples hands? I am so OCCD it's making me crazy lol
