No one has even really mentioned except for the one post about their company not donating.

Here's a link It's a non-family-related board, so don't feel like you aren't welcome since you aren't married!
And I don't think it is sad. Personally I have FMd with quite a few of my friends about it on here, but just don't feel the need to have the kind of arguments that the posts on LIF precipitated regarding evacuation, etc.

This angers me. It really sounds like you are judging, and whether or not people post about it on LIW has nothing to do about whether family members were involved and hurt, or the amount of concern felt for the victims.

No threats, I am just saying as a relatively new member it is just not a good way to make friends by commenting on how sad everyone is. A better, more proactive way is number one, helping in real life, which many of us have, or two, starting a thread if you feel like there is a need for one.

Tourist, thanks I read them all. They are kind of short though. I do understand how for some its too much to talk about it over and over again and I can see where things can get heated as well.
I guess because on the other two boards I also visit its been discussed so much more and luckily it hasnt gotten heated etc and we even had a fundraiser etc., I was a bit disheartened not to really find anything here.
Sorry if I jumped to conclusions as it seems it was discussed?
