As one post mentioned, many of the discussions on LIW and LIF get heated and wind up getting pulled. One about evacuations on LIF implied that people did not evacuate because they wanted taken care of. Another turned into Bush-bashing, which, while valid under this circumstance, is a way of getting a thread pulled quickly. So threads about such matters do not stay around long, and when they do, spark a great deal of arguments. I like to think of LIW NWR as more of a safe haven, because LIF NWR seems to get more heated and argumentative.

But who's yelling? Im not. I think this is been taken to another place all together. I just didnt appreciate being threatened and told that for someone with few little posts(gee is over 100 too little?) that I should be careful in what I say etc.
Thats all, truly Im not trying to have a fight or anything of the sort but I do want to defend myself if I need to.
I made a mistake I said thank you for showing me the threads etc still I get attacked.
Anyway, let just end it really:)

Just to clarify, Nov04LIBride didn't threaten you. By 'be careful' she meant, be more mindful of your tone and phrasing. Tone and attitude are easily misread on the boards and your tone appeared to be reprimanding and critical.
You can't judge someone's sympathy or knowledge of situtation just because they haven't posted about it.
Exactly. I said it was not a threat.
A much nicer way of starting a thread would have been...
'I've noticed there aren't many posts on the hurricane. Does anyone have any friends or family members who were affected? What is everyone doing to help? '
And I think I made 100 posts my first day, so no, I don't consider 100 many. And if I was yelling you would know it, in writing or in person.
