FH and I have 2 children together, BUT we still live seperately(trying to save $ by staying home with family as long as we can)
we rarely see each other and I'm getting aggrevated by it. The kids live with me bc his family wouldnt let them live with them at his moms house(his family are a-holes) by the time I get home at night from working a 12 hour day, I dont want to drag the kids out on a school night and he doesnt want to come over to late to distract them from going to bed on time.... I dunno what to do... we dont get sitters alot and quality time together is tough...
any suggestions on how to remedy the 'I dont see him enough blues'?

Well, I live with my FI and I still never see him. He works 10am-6pm, I work 7am-2pm...I got to sleep around 9pm while he is up all night. Hmm, where do you live? I am a great babysitter! You can ask my boss, lol. Argh, my point...I know I have one. Don't let it get it to you, I live with my FI and I still never see him! Soon enough you will be married and together for forever. just think of the $$$ you are saving and how fabulous your wedding will be

tried that, but my parents and sister are the only ones who watch the girls bc my FIL'S don't! we asked them 2 times in the 6 years that we've had the kids and they said NO-so we dont ask anymore....

Fh lives upstate and I am on LI... so for the past year we have only seen each other on the weekends... I get upset at times but I know eventually we will be together forever and this is just a temporary arrangement...

I worked an overnight shift for over a year. FH would call me at 11pm everynight and wake me so I could go to work at midnight and he would go to sleep. I would come home at 2 or 3 in the afternoon and go back to sleep while he worked from 7am-6pm. Needless to say for over one year we got to see each other 1day a week and most of that day we were so tired that we just slept.
You get used to it after a while and your time that you do have together is much more meaningful. Don't get fustrated it will get easier.
