Not so good news from my Doctor

I went for my annual, and I have an enlarged thyroid.
She took blood test, and by Thursday will tell me how we should proceed

Anyone have any info?

PS - She said I may need an Ultrasound, and may have to see an Endocrinologist (sp?)

LIZ I dont know the answer but I have read in what to expect when your expecting... you might want to pick it up
they do say lots of women w/ throyoid and other conditions do get pregnant, etc... and it tells of what they have to do/watch etc.....
I dont remember all the details..... I just remember there being a section on that

Liz I also have a thryoid condition. If you need the name of great Endocronologist let me know. I love my doctor!!! Any questions about thyroidism please let me know.

Thanks ladies for your support.

I heard from my doc, she said I have a TSH of .03 whatever that means
She said my thyroid is working overtime?? and I may have Graves disease and I may have problems getting pregnant

My FI's step mother has Graves disease, and she had my FSIL who is 3 1/2.

You are in my thoughts...make sure you get a second opinion.

I am sorry - I do not know much about thyroid problems. But I wanted to let you know that I am thinking of you and that all goes well with the doctors.

One of the good things about these boards is that you can find other women who have had similiar experiences with thyroid problems who have had success with TTC.
