So I went to my first hair and makeup trial...for $90 and I was so unhappy with both of them..as was my MOH. I'm not very happy that we have to pay so much.. Now I have to spend another $100 for another one! I'm going to post pictures...could you guys possibly tell me what you think I could do differently to make it look better? I know what I think but I would like outside opinions as well..I have another hair and makeup appointment with Gorgeous Faces next week (which I've heard very good things about!!) so I want to be prepared to explain to them what i want! Thanks so much!!!!
Your hair looks great! I think you could maybe use a bit more makeup but that's your preference. You look very fresh faced and pretty. What don't you like about it?

I just feel like the hair is uneven..if you look at the picture from the back...the hair ofn the left side is against my head and the hair on the right side is like out further than my ear. You can't really see in the picture...but the curls on top very like flattened down. For my makeup I think it was more of the way it was done I guess...I felt like she didn't know what she was doing..and just kept putting on different colors...she must have applied more than 6 eye shadows to me eyes. She just kept saying she wasn't happy and adding on more... Maybe its' just me! But i'm glad I got positive feedback haha...maybe I'm just being paranoid!!!!

No they were actually booked for my date already..I caleld them about 2 weeks ago..adn I got a call back over the weekend that the girl who was booked for my date cancelled! So I'm going for a hair and makeup trial next week..I would definately say call them..it's better to be early than too late!!! I called them and left a message and one of the girls got right back to me! She seems soo sweet!!

I really like your hair, I think it looks great. Your makeup is pretty but you look sooooo natural that it almost doesnt look like she did anything. I definitely dont like the wings on your eyes at all.
If you arent happy with it, go somewhere else...good Luck

Yeah I asked her to use black for my eyes...because they are kind of small and I wanted them to stand out..and she used all browns (including eyeliner and mascara)...which you can barely see except upclose!

Although you look very pretty-I think I would choose a different hair style and go with a different lipstick shade.

It doesn't look like u have on any make up... the hair looks too big from the front it looks like a big bun, and not curls...but i love the back

I wouldn't change the hair, I really like it! I do think the make up is a little light though. Did you tell her that you weren't crazy about it?

i think that your hair looks very pretty from the back, but the front does kind of look flattened down, more like a bun. i would say to maybe separate the curls more, so that they aren't so thick and bunched together - it may make it stand out more, if that makes any sense. and i would maybe leave one hair out to the curve of your face in the front, just to soften the look a bit. as for your makeup... it looks more like 'every day' makeup. it looks pretty but it doesn't 'pop'. i'm not sure how black liner would look on you, but i would just bring those pictures to your next trial and tell them that you want your eyes to stand out a bit more. in my community album, i have pictures of 'makeup i like'. the first 3 pictures, the girl has on brownish tones but they are darker and pop more... that look might look nice on you, if you want to check it out. JMO, hope that helps. good luck!

I agree that you need more makeup. Or different colors that stand out more. And the hair looks great from the back. But in the front, the curls need to be separated more so you can tell they are curls.
Did you bring pictures with you to the trial? I brought several pictures with me showing the way I wanted the front and back. And I also had pictures of makeup that I liked. HTH

I think your hair looks gorgeous, but i agree with you on the curls, they are uneven and need more work. As for makeup, need more colors, it doesn't say WOW. just my opinion
