So I went to my first hair and makeup trial...for $90 and I was so unhappy with both of them..as was my MOH. I'm not very happy that we have to pay so much.. Now I have to spend another $100 for another one! I'm going to post pictures...could you guys possibly tell me what you think I could do differently to make it look better? I know what I think but I would like outside opinions as well..I have another hair and makeup appointment with Gorgeous Faces next week (which I've heard very good things about!!) so I want to be prepared to explain to them what i want! Thanks so much!!!!

i don't usually wear makeup, so i'm not too savvy when it comes to it... but i'll give you my honest opinion:
you're a very pretty girl and i don't think they did their best to bring it out. going to another place to get 'a second opinion' is a smart move.
i'd love to see pics of the next trial.

Yes, the back of the hair looks good. But the front looks a little flat like you said. If you don't feel confident in her I would definitely go with someone else you don't want to be unsure of yourself for your wedding day.

i'm not a fan of the MU at all. i think you would wind up being washed out in your pics.
the hair is nice, but i can't quite put my finger on what i don't like about it.
but i wanted to say that you will be happy with Gorgeous Faces! jillian is a great MU artist and the Rock sisters are hair geniuses! i have a trial with Jillian & Bridget Rock in my community album.

I love the back of your hair, but from the front it does not look like you have curls at all - it looks too 'done'... like others mentioned - like a bun.
I agree that maybe they should have used deeper colors to make your features pop.
