Not sure if I posted this....

but we booked our hotel block at the Hyatt in Garden City!! I was able to talk them down to a really good price, considering it's Memorial Day weekend

That's where we are too!!! We got a complimentary room there through Westbury Manor. Were you able to block rooms already for 2013?

Yup We booked 20 rooms

Congratulations!!!

I'm getting married the same day. I actually did not think about the hotel prices being higher; I forgot it was a holiday weekend. Now that's something else I need to keep in mind.

Yea, it's such a pain!! We looked at 5 hotels and I was able to talk them down the lowest, plus I think it's a really nice hotel

Is it the Hyatt place??? We stayed there when we were having work done on our house... it is a GREAT hotel.. your guests will LOVE it!!!

WOW!!! Thats crazy!!!!!!!!Ya I love it there too and I actually need to see if they can lower my rate for my suite =(
