Not the way to start off the day

Yesterday, FH and I went to an open house in Deer Park. We fell in love with the house and went home and talked about how we loved it and we want to go to the bank this week and see how much we could get approved for and put in an offer. At 9:30, the REA called saying someone else put in an offer on the spot yesterday and the homeowners accpeted. Literally I was crying my eyes out when I called FH to tell him. I know there will be other houses, but we did love this one

The same thing happened to us last year and then we found our house which we love even more then the first we saw. Don't worry it will all work out. Good Luck!

Yeah I know, but you know when you just can't stop picturing all the things that you loved about that house? That's what's happening to me right now. I know I will find a house that we love more, but I feel like if we didn't have this wedding, we could have had even that much more money to offer on the house.

I am sorry. That just means there is an even better house out there for you guys. I know it sux right now since it is so new to you. I hate when that happens. You get your hopes up and something happens. Don't worry.

oh im so sorry to hear that! It S u c k s!! But you will find a perfect home... something will catch your eye again and i'm sure you will love .. maybe more so than this one!! ya never know!

I hear that it takes alot of work to get a house. And especially time!

Thanks girls. I honestly don't think that we are ready right at this moment to buy a house (finacially) but I fell in love with the one that we saw and I feel like nothing is going to compare to that one, ya know? It suc ks, but deep down inside I know the right thing to do is to wait, then we can use whatever we get in wedding gifts to put down on a home

Buying a home was serioulsy one of the most exhausting and depressing experiences of my life...I know how you feel we had a bunch of 'perfect' houses slip right through our fingers because our timing was off...2 years worth of houses . But now I wouldn't trade our house for anything I love it . You'll find a house soon enough and when you walk into it you'll know that it's meant to be your 'home'. I swear that's what happened to us with our house. It will all be worth it in the end

Melissa, that's exactly how I feel...like this house slipped through our fingers. I know it sounds crazy, but I feel like we are never going to find another house that we love as much as this one. But I honestly have to just keep telling myself that after the wedding, we will not be as strapped for money and then we can get something that we love.
