There were about 3-4 guests that we did nit recieve anything from either....we did not say anything and just thanked them for sharing in our day! If they ask any questions afterwards than thats the time to say something
its not polite to say anything besides u should give them a chance maybe they've ran into some financial problems and kept it quite i would simply thank them for coming. having them share my day would mean more to me than a gift..

You don't say anything. When doing your TY, just thank them for coming to your wedding.
If they ask you about the present (you did not mention on the TY), then tell them you never got anything.
