Not TTC but have a question about antibiotics?

I was just wondering if anyone know if antibiotics can make your period late? I was on strong dose for 10 days for strep throat and period is late. (HELP! I don't want to be pregnant right now). Thanks all.

If you could ask the doctor this. I know i was on some and my period is very wierd now. I have not a clue about when is it coming now.

I am not sure but I do know that some antibiotics can interfere with the pill, like you can still get pregnant on the pill but I don't know if it would make your period late. I did a quick search online and found that some medications can delay your period but they are mostly prescribed for thyroid conditions. Try searching online with the specific name of your antibiotic.
