We hired a planner and realized a way to cut cost was to not hire a florist, buy the flowers at wholesale, and arrange centerpieces and decorations ourselves. We'll still use a florist for bouquets. I want to know if anyone has ever done this or thinks that this is a bad idea. Any info would be helpful. Thanks!

Re: Not using a florist - any suggestions?
Its not a bad idea at all. Actually I'm using King Kullan for all my flowers. My Bouquet is less than $40. Check them out because they do a great job for far less the price.
