I choose a black dress for my shower and was going to wear cute red shoes.. I am debating now ????... I did not want to necessarily wear white, but I am rethinking the black...
all i see is a red X but i'm sure the dress is beautiful. i dont think you have to wear white to your shower. whatever you feel comfortable in!

Thanks ladies!!!! Its a very light dress even though its got the sleves so I pretty much know my shower will be in this hot weather (wedding is october)... so i was worried about being hot but yeah i think it will be ok.. Although I might just still look around. never know what I will find...

i actually wore a black dress with red shoes. You dont have to wear white, there is no rule for that. Youre wearing white on your wedding day so why not do something different

I wore black to my shower. And I would do it again, why not? A cute black dress is a cute black dress, people read way too much into wearing a :gasp: black dress to a shower or as a BM dress....you're not in mourning and everyone knows that, if you like the black wear it!

dont rethink.. i wore black and red shoes.. everyone loved it as well as i it was comfy. noone even noticed it wasnt white
just a side note.. i didnt even know you wear white toyour shower.. ive never heard of that till i came here. so i say... go with black!

when did it become a tradition to wear white to your shower? I honestly never heard of this.
i wore a crazy patterned dress. I think you can't go wrong with a black dress, especially with red shoes!
