Not wearing white

for my shower dress/outfit...

I choose a black dress for my shower and was going to wear cute red shoes.. I am debating now ????... I did not want to necessarily wear white, but I am rethinking the black...

This is my dress.

Yeah i figured i never wear white anyways, the only time I will be wearing white is the wedding dress, sooo want to be 'me' ya know!

I didn't wear white...granted my shower was a surprise I kinda knew thats where i was going and wore a navy blue dress...wear whatever you feel comfortable in

I dont think its a 'rule' persay to wear white, I guess ppl just always assume that the bride wears white so thats what I ment about 'not wearing white' title. does that make sense ? lol
