I was wondering if anyone had info for me. Where I live there is a house behind me and the people have a dog. The dog is obviously kept outside 24/7. I cant see it all, but it looks like they have him fenced in a little area where he could barely move. Every night and day when it is so cold outside and I hear this dog. It kills me to know how cold it must be. My question is, who do you call, if there is anyone to call? I have been upset about this for a while. Thank you

I guess you could call ASPCA or look in the phone book for who ever would be in charge of animal cruelty. Or maybe the local police pct could tell you.

I knew someone who kept their dog outside almost all the time, either chained to a tree or in a run-in cage. The dog did have a little house, which I believe was insulated. Does this dog have a house so he can at least get out from the elements, not just rain, snow and cold, but also sun and heat. Do you know if the dog is being fed and watered properly? I love the cable station Animal Planet, and they have some very interesting animal shows .. one being Animal Precinct. It shows the work the ASPCA does .. and they apparently only have 10 officers to cover all of Manhattan and maybe more. You might want to give them a call and explain the situation.
