Not wedding related

I went to college for five years and I received a Associate and a Bachelors. All I have to show from it is a diploma.( which I am very proud of). I work at a hospital and realyenjoy working their,an wouldn't mind working there for a long time. Though I know I could be making a lot more money if I went back to school and went for a (really job). Sometimes I wish it wasn't so important for women to become successful in the working force. I just don't have that career drive, anyone else feel this way?

I really don't want to become a stay at home mom, I like working, I just would like to stay at my job even though I could probably make more money.

I just wish you didn't get sucked into jobs so easily, its hard to leave. I think I feel this way also because I worked almost full time and went to school full time the five years. I always was around my friends who got to live off their parents and go away to school. I am just burned out.

i hear you... i like my job but it dosent pay very well. FH gets frustrated because he has a learning disability and never went to college... then heres me... all a's in school... a college diploma.. and an assistant manager of a leather store. not what i had planned.. not realy what i want to do with the rest of my life but i feel stuck.. My bachelors has 2 concentrations so even if i wanted to go back for a masters i would need to go back to first take undergrad courses....DENIED! i feel like i would be going backwards.. plus i dont know how i manager a store and went to school full time...

Its hard to go back to school, but my FH works full time and is going for his masters full time. If you were always good in school, I am sure you will do great. My FH says getting his masters is easier then his undergrad. I had a lot of learning problems through out school also and was very proud that I made it through college. Especially when my mom told me a few months ago that all my teachers would tell her I would probably never go to college, and if I did I wouldn't make it through. Nice thing to say if your a teacher.
