I live up by fishkill now- but I grew up out in the hamptons (east Hampton) and we had them out there so i was told never saw any. i saw pheasant and quail but no turkeys when i was growing up

where we live its just like living on the island- the mall is only 10 minutes away- trust me i would not have moved up to no where land lol-- main road not to far away is almost like sunrise hwy in between massapequa and bellmore where i used to live---

Yup! My mom lives in Shirley and we car pool everyday. Just this morning we saw some beautiful pheasants on Montauk Highway.

I was going to say. I live upstate now too. But I am really upstate compared to you. I live in Woodstock. I want to live in Fishkill its so cute there. I grew up in Massapequa and its just like that!!

A house we looked at was 4 bedrooms, three baths, kitch, live.rm, den, two car garage, screened in room, and 3.5 acers for $225,000 with about $3,000 in taxes a year. I wish we could get it but I lose my job soon so its scary to make such a big purchase!
